Delaware County approves $2 million in tiny organization grants for COVID-19

The Delaware County Commissioners declared new grants Friday intended to assist neighborhood companies impacted by the pandemic.

The county is launching its Small Enterprise Safety Software which will offer you grants value up to $15,000 to qualified, for-gain tiny corporations in Delaware County.

The income arrives from a $2 million pool. Corporations will have to supply evidence of losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The apps will be recognized until eventually Dec. 4, 2020, at 2 p.m. Companies can obtain the apps right here and will have to post them to Zach Dowley at [email protected] with the supporting documentation. 

To be qualified, a company must be:

  • Either wholly found inside Delaware County and/or function a corporate workplace with the county.
  • A registered business with the Ohio Secretary of Point out.
  • A for-earnings company with no extra than 25 comprehensive-time employees and/or unrestricted component-time/agreement employees.
  • Section of a person of these specific industries: hotels/motels dining establishments retail medical technological know-how expert expert services gentle industrial.
